Stonehenge on Salisbury Plains is one of England's most impressive landmarks. Combine this with a visit to historic Salisbury cathedral and you have a day trip to remember. 

The Swanery at Abbotsbury is a once in a lifetime experience. To be able to walk amongst the largest colony of mute swans in the world , then to feed them is a treat all the family will treasure for a long time. Abbotsbury also has a sub-tropical garden and childrens farm adventure play centre , so is well worth visiting for a day out. 

The New Forest is a stunning place to visit with its abundant wild life, forest trails and open heath lands, rivers and streams. The old ways really do meet the new in this exciting landscape. The deer and New Forest ponies are found in abundance in the New Forest , and they are so tame that you are almost always guaranteed to see them, whenever you visit. 

The beaches at Bournemouth are legendary . Six miles of safe , golden sand available all year round with a host of water sports and boat trips also being available. The pier with its theatre and restaurant is as popular as ever and many boat excursions leave from here. The view back to the town at night with its host of illuminations is always worth a look.

The Pavilion is a family entertainment bar,restaurant, and theatre complex that has something for the whole family from pantomimes to live bands all year round. It overlooks the seafront and pier and has plenty of outdoor seating for those hot sunny days and evenings. The Bournemouth International Centre also hosts a range of internationally known stars and events all year round.

The new attraction of the Visterarma Balloon being a very popular way to see the stunning views over this clean and attractive town. Numerous restaurants and coffee houses are open all day round to provide whatever refreshment you desire. The night life is exceptional with a wide choice of bars, pubs and night clubs to choose from.

The Littledown Centre is generally acclaimed to be one of the best sports centres in the UK. Its extensive and luxurious facilities offer something for the whole family whether it be a gentle family swim or fencing lessons. Numerous clubs run throughout the year offering tuition and fun for all regardless of age and previous experience. The Littledown Centre is an ideal venue especially if the weather less than perfect. 

Bournemouth's Pier approach offers a wide range of indoor activities for all tastes. The Oceanarium is an ever popular family venue regardless of the season. The new Imax Cinema Complex offers state of the art undercover entertainment and is a unique seafront attraction for Bournemouth. 
  The Christchurch Ski Centre is located about a mile from the site and offers one of the best ski facilities in the country. It provides an excellent bar and Alpine cafe , and children are welcome. As well as excellent ski-ing facilities there is a well stocked ski-ware clothing shop. Younger members of the family ( and older ones!) will enjoy ski-bobbing which is a great way to enjoy the slopes whatever your previous experience.
